The first step in Hockey Canada's Program of Excellence, the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge features two Canadian teams and four international countries in a tournament that showcases the future stars of the game.

Charlottetown and Summerside, PE play host to this year’s World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, Nov. 2-11. A highly anticipated return since the event was cancelled here in 2020. Don’t miss out, tickets are on sale now!

Six teams will be on the ice in Charlottetown and Summerside when P.E.I. welcomes the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
111 under-17 and under-20 players participated in three days of meetings to begin preparations for the 2023-24 season.
Seven communities in five provinces – from B.C. to P.E.I. – will play host to national and international events.
Dave Brown, Cam Russell and Peter Anholt will oversee Canada’s men’s U17, U18 and U20 programs in 2023-24.
