Go behind the scenes in Oakville as players find out they’re going to Sweden with Canada's National Junior Team.
Twenty-two players, representing seven Members, have been named to Team Canada for the World Juniors in Sweden.
Thirty players – including one returnee – will start on the road to the World Juniors at selection camp in Oakville.
Alan Letang will serve as head coach at the World Juniors, alongside Gilles Bouchard, Shaun Clouston and Scott Walker.
In 2025, the IIHF World Junior Championship will return to the nation’s capital for the first time in 16 years.
Dave Brown, Cam Russell and Peter Anholt will oversee Canada’s men’s U17, U18 and U20 programs in 2023-24.
Celebrini scored twice as Canada closed out the prelims with a win.
